VLC Media Player
- Open VLC Media Player
- On the top nav bar, click Subtitle
- Select add Subtitle File
- Pick the file from the resulting dialog box to display your captions/subtitles
- To switch between languages, go to Subtitles Track and select the preferred option
MX Player
- Play a video on MX Player
- On the video screen tap on the 'Closed Caption' icon on the top right
- If you have a subtitle file already downloaded in the same folder wherein the video is stored it would appear under Subtitle
- If not, tap on Open and select the path of your subtitle file
