How to Enable Subtitles in VLC Media Player and MX Player!

VLC Media Player
  • Open VLC Media Player
  • On the top nav bar, click Subtitle
  • Select add Subtitle File
  • Pick the file from the resulting dialog box to display your captions/subtitles
  • To switch between languages, go to Subtitles Track and select the preferred option

    MX Player
    • Play a video on MX Player
    • On the video screen tap on the 'Closed Caption' icon on the top right
    • If you have a subtitle file already downloaded in the same folder wherein the video is stored it would appear under Subtitle
    • If not, tap on Open and select the path of your subtitle file
